MHA Board of Commissioners
The Marietta Housing Authority Board of Commissioners is made up of six members; the Chair and Vice-Chair are elected by the board. The Commissioners are the governing officers of the Authority.
Senior Housing
Engaging in strategic partnerships results in the creation of extraordinary opportunities for modern 'Seniors Only' residential facilities. The resulting communities offer seniors a wide variety of services tailored to meeting the goal of allowing seniors to 'age in place'. Our Senior Communities offer a lifestyle that is active and rewarding for adults 55 and over (or 62 and over, depending on the property).
Section 8/HCV
The Section 8/HCV Program is federal rent subsidy program under the Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that provides vouchers to eligible households. The Section 8/HCV Program provides rental assistance to private landlords for approved units selected by the voucher holder. The Housing Authority of the City of Marietta (MHA) administers 2,588 vouchers.
