Some participants have already created a Rent Caf\u00e9 account when they applied for a waiting list or ported their voucher to MHA. If you have already created a Rent Caf\u00e9 account, please be advised that this will be the same account you will use going forward.<\/p>\n<p>If you have registered with another Agency or Apartment Complex, you would use that same account with the other agency to login and click &#8220;Register with Another Agency&#8221;. Please contact MHA for your registration code if you have an active account with another Agency and\/or Apartment Complex.<\/p>\n<p>Now that this process will be online, and because email communication will be used by MHA, it is extremely important to keep your email address up to date. Your email address will be your log in ID for Rent Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3385ff; text-decoration: underline;\">On this portal you will be able to view the following:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Family Information<\/li>\n<li>Current and Future Rent Portions (Basic Information)<\/li>\n<li>Payments to Landlords (Housing Assistance Payments)<\/li>\n<li>Inspection Results<\/li>\n<li>Abatements and Tenant Holds<\/li>\n<li>Annual Recertification and submit paperwork<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3385ff; font-size: 14pt; text-decoration: underline;\">Using your Mobile Device as a Scanner<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If using the convenience of your mobile device to submit\u00a0 documents for your Annual Recertification, it is strongly recommended that you use your scanning feature instead of taking a picture of the document.\u00a0 This will reduce file size and eliminate unwanted backgrounds.\u00a0 Please refer to the YouTube videos for your device to utilize this amazing feature!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zgUSYp4pwXo\">IPhone<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/1EitQscr7gI\">Galaxy<\/a> 20 or newer<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DgA1-MBTMKg\">Android<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are unable to use your mobile device to submit your documents, MHA has a scanning kiosk located at the Central Office in the main lobby.<\/p>\n<p>What if I don&#8217;t have a Computer or Mobile Device?<\/p>\n<p>Rent caf\u00e9 can be accessed by any mobile device or computer that has access to the internet.\u00a0 If you do not have a device, MHA has two (2) workstations dedicated for the portal access at its central office location.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Participant Portal Completing Annual Recertification Video\u00a0\u00a0 You are now required to submit your annual recertification application online.
