Area Schools

Marietta City Schools - Marietta serves approximately 8,000 students at small neighborhood schools with the dynamics of an urban school district. Marietta City Schools are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Four schools have been named Georgia Schools of Excellence and one has been named a National School of Excellence. Cobb County School District - The Cobb County School District, located in north metro Atlanta, is the second-largest school system in Georgia serving a diverse population of more than 104,000 students in 110 schools. Please note that Marietta City Schools are NOT a part of the Cobb County School District.

Cobb County High School Magnet Programs - The Cobb County School District’s high school magnet programs provide opportunities for committed students to pursue an advanced course of study in a specific focus area while earning a college preparatory diploma. The magnet programs are coordinated through the district’s Advanced Learning Programs Office.
